Respond to the following quote from the chapter... what does it mean to you?
"tally thought of the lesions on Shay's brain. The tiny cancers or wounds or whatever they are that she didnt even know she had. They were in there somewhere changing he friend's thoughts, warping her feaalings, gnawing at the roots of who she was."
I think what theyre doing with the brain lesions are completlty wrong. they should still let the pretties think for themselves, even if they do have a new body & face.

How do David & Tally describe the Rusties? Is it accurate?
They basically are calling the Rusties disgusting creatures that lived in absoulute terror. I do not think this is accurate at all.
What are weaknesses of OUR society?
People dont seem to take the earth's health & condition seriously. The crime & violence is also bad. I belive if we could fix those two major problems, we wouldnt have that much problems.

Explain what self preservation means to you. Is it the most important thing? Would you lie because of it?
I think Self perservation means that you stand up for yourself, and you protect yourself or at least try to. I think its a VERY important thing, because it lets people know you dont let things get to you. I dont exactly understand this question, but would i lie to protect myself? of course, and everyone else that was involved, depending on the situation. If i believe me or the other person should be punished even though i dont like it, i wouldnt lie.

Do you think Shay has a right to be jealous of Tally? why or why not?
I dont think Shay has a right to be jealous because theres nothing to be jealous about. I think she should just listen to Tally and understand that nothing is going on between her and David. I do see why shay is jealous though because apparently she likes David, and David is only paying attention to Tally.
Tally recived a gift from David in the chapter that is speacial. Hae you ever recived something that made others jealous as this gift did? Did you gift have a meaning behind it as Tally's had?
Well, i have cousins who parents are divorced. We were at my grandmas for christmas one year and know one knew that my uncle would be bringing my twin cousins. so therefore know one brought their presents to her house. well, while everyone was opening presents, they finally realize that theyre none for them at her house. I guess this made them jealous.

"Work" #27
Find an image of a skyline like the one Tally sees. Post it. What is beautiful about it? Is there anything ugly about it?
I chose this picture because the clouds look smokey. This picture reminded of the skyline that Tally saw because of the clouds blending in with the smoke. I think this picture is beautiful because i love the way the clouds blend in with the smoke and the sun still finds a way to shine through, you cant really tell if its dawn or sunset though. I think the thing that is ugly about this picture is that if you look at the bottom at all the bulidings you kinda get the feeling of pollution or violence in the area.
